Teacher Training
Our Teacher Training in schools offers professional development to teaching staff. We aim to increase staff mental-health and wellbeing by fostering connection, resilience and self-regulation.
We train teachers to feel confident to teach the mindful breathing practice in the classroom as a daily exercise, empowering them to create healthy habits with themselves and their students. This training results in teachers adapting their teaching practice to include mindful breathing, making it an ongoing daily practice. Students are then able to continue practicing mindful breathing with their teachers in the classroom.
This ongoing nature of this practice is the strength of our program, as it allows the benefits of mindful breathing and self-regulation to extend far beyond the 10 sessions. Students and teachers are equipped with a skill for life.
Information Session
Our Information Session offers an introduction to mindful breathing to empower students, parents and teachers to use breath awareness as a tool for self-regulation, allowing them to better handle stress and control impulses, resulting in calm, harmonious classrooms.
6 Week Program
Breath Circle’s 6-week program involves working with students for one session per week. During the 50minute sessions conducted by a trained and experienced facilitator, students will use movement, mindful breathing and sound, to create clear minds, regulate emotions, and improve focus in the classroom. It will support them to develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation, which can have positive impacts on their personal relationships, education and learning, and sense of wellbeing.
These engaging, practical workshops aim to guide students and teachers to ‘drop in’ and connect to their breath, to experience the power of breath to reduce stress and anxiety, and to increase resilience and self-awareness. Our Programs create community connection, enhancing community participation and empowering individuals to be resourceful in relation to their own mental health and wellbeing as well as the health and wellbeing of their community.
Costing for Teacher Training / Information Session / 10 Week Program is dependant on the number of students and sessions required. Testimonials
I voraciously engaged myself in this course from the beginning till the end, mainly because the teaching and content was so superb. I’m so grateful to now have the best tools to teach yoga and mindfulness to young people, who need it now more than ever.
Beata is a passionate teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience that she readily shares. Her relaxed and nurturing way of facilitating enabled the group dynamic to shift to a small community within the first weekend. The course content delivered a healthy balance of scientific and practical information with personal experience sharing.
I would highly recommend this course. It has given me the confidence to teach youth yoga in my local community. The course for me has reaffirmed the importance to give our young people the tools to self regulate their emotions through breath awareness and mindful movement. Beata's style of teaching is so calm and beautiful and I felt privileged to learn with her. Her passion for music and rhythm shone through. I found the nutrition element also very inspiring. The recipes I have already used and feel more equipped to provide some new healthy snacks to the kids' lunchboxes.
Beata Heymann's 50 hour Youth Yoga Teacher Training is a distillation of a lifetimes worth of knowledge, experience and wisdom. Beata is an expert facilitator who walks her talk, and takes the time to know her trainees. The course has prepared me well to enter the realm of youth yoga teaching, and I feel entirely confident in the toolkit that this program has equipped me with. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge and awareness of the diverse needs of young people, and how best to serve them as they grow.
Beata’s wisdom, passion, experience and enthusiasm was outstanding. A course that was informative, inclusive, collaborative, accessible and engaging. B’s facilitation and examples were so authentic and relevant to the many age groups I already teach. To have her open up her heart and her teaching toolkit has already enhanced my offerings, and given me the ability to dive deeper with my students, and also seek new clients. I felt empowered by her offerings and have already sung her praises to many. An experience I highly recommend.

This specialised course offers yoga, pranayama and sound practices to support and manage stress, anxiety and fatigue. The yoga practices are accessible and empowering with a focus on cultivating personal agency and utilising restoration as a tool to balance the body-mind.
This course takes an inclusive, people-centred approach to yoga with a focus on body sensations and breath. Students are guided to listen to the body’s innate wisdom, practicing ‘interoception’ (internal awareness) to connect to and trust the body’s natural healing capacity.
Each session will provide time and space that is safe for unraveling and releasing tension. We will work with a combination of self-care tools that encourage the body to return to a relaxed state of balance.
This course will take place over 6 weeks and I will e-mail a link to each class weekly. You can select a time that suits you to practice at home. It is recommended to keep a regular time and rhythm with the course.
If you have a yoga mat and props at home you can use these, otherwise feel free to practice on the floor with a cushion (bolster), books (blocks), and a belt/scarf (strap). You may like to have a journal handy to take notes, wear comfortable clothes and have plenty of water with you. This course is designed to revitalise and restore energy. Beginners are welcome and no flexibility or prior yoga experience is required. You will receive a booklet each week via e-mail with pictures, inspiring quotes and instructions for the breath work and mantra elements of the course. Feel free to refer to your booklet as you practice along at home. Please do contact me if you have any further questions or feedback, I am always happy to hear from you.
Looking forward to sharing these practices that are so close to my heart; that have supported me along my own healing journey and allowed me to access a centered state of calm in everyday life. Let’s support one another to find this zen state in the midst of chaos and the unknown. Everyone is welcome!

“Beata creates a sublime and safe space for people to soften their guard and allow the magic of yin and sound to flow. Her skills in holding space are evident in the way she can encourage a whole room of slightly shy yogi's to sing together. With just the right word choice, she finds language to make you feel at ease in your own body. Her yin and sound healing’s are a particularly special event to experience. I could not recommend them more highly.”
- Karina Smith

Beata is an amazing teacher, offering the perfect balance of meditation and movement and she plays beautiful music.”
